Yoga Nidra Experience

The Yoga Nidra session will take about 55 minutes. Class will open with a short discussion. After the session, time will be available for Q&A led by Ali Zuba, Certified Yoga Therapist and Experienced Yoga Teacher.

YOGA NIDRA is a practice of guided, deep relaxation, and is sometimes described as a "back door" to meditation. While many think of it as an extended śavāsana or lying-down meditation, it is actually quite different. "Yoga Nidra" literally means "Yogic Sleep", and is a focused, dynamic state, designed to enable peace. During the Yoga Nidra session, you will lie comfortably on your back with your eyes closed. All that is required is that you focus on the instruction and stay aware!
